After over three years of the project, these are the numbers and results of the project BCN shares food. We have recovered over 70.000 Kg of healthy food, which should mean that it is cooked meal, which represents a significant energy savings for our beneficiaries. This food have been distributed to 15 different social entities, which represents a benefit for 52.000 people annually. This food come from food surpluses from 15 hotels and 17 food companies. We must also add that in the framework of the BCN shares food, have made more than 67 sessions and cooking workshops (Healthy diet at low cost, Hygiene and food safety, Healthy food at different stages of life, Healthy cooking workshops at low cost adapted to energy poverty).
