We present "the Seal" to promote the reduction of food waste

Coinciding with World Environment Day, from Nutrició Sense Fronteres we present our new badge for the reduction of food waste.

This seal was created with the aim of recognizing and making visible the commitment of those establishments and entities (hotels, restaurants, educational centers, catering companies and social entities) that promote specific actions to prevent and reduce food waste.

The loss and waste of food has a significant environmental impact, since it involves an unnecessary use of resources such as water, energy and soil, in addition to generating greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change. For this reason, from Nutrició Sense Fronteres we want to continue promoting initiatives that promote a more sustainable and responsible food system.

During the coming weeks we will begin delivering this badge to all those entities that are already actively working to reduce food waste. We also invite new organizations and establishments to join this initiative and become part of a network committed to the use of food and the protection of the planet.
